1. Request Deletion from Cosmic Jaunt
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Cosmic Jaunt account. Include the account email, workspace or website name, and a short note saying that you want your account or connected platform data deleted.
If you cannot email from the account address, include enough information for us to verify that you are authorized to make the request. We may ask for additional verification before deleting data.
2. What We Delete
When a verified deletion request is approved, we will delete or de-identify account profile information, websites and workspaces where applicable, prompts, generated content, uploaded files, contact form records under our control, Social Studio schedules, social connection tokens, and related personal information that is not required for retention.
Published customer websites, third-party social posts, search engine caches, DNS records, registrar records, payment provider records, and content stored by connected platforms may need to be removed separately through those services.
3. Disconnect Social Platforms
You can also revoke access directly from the third-party platform. Removing access stops future access, but you should still contact us if you want data already stored in Cosmic Jaunt or Social Studio deleted.
For Meta products such as Facebook and Instagram, open Facebook Settings and privacy, go to Apps and Websites, select the Cosmic Jaunt app, and remove it. You may also remove page or business permissions from Meta Business settings.
For LinkedIn, open Settings & Privacy, then Data privacy, then Permitted services, and remove the Cosmic Jaunt connection.
For X, open X account settings, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions, and revoke the Cosmic Jaunt app.
For TikTok, open TikTok settings for authorized apps or app permissions and revoke the Cosmic Jaunt connection.
4. Retention Exceptions
We may retain limited information when required or permitted for legal compliance, tax and accounting records, payment disputes, fraud prevention, security logs, backup restoration, abuse investigations, or enforcement of our Terms of Service.
Backups may take additional time to expire or be overwritten, but deleted data will not be restored to active systems except where needed for legal, security, or disaster recovery reasons.
5. Confirmation
After we process a verified deletion request, we will send confirmation to the requesting email address when practical. If your request relates to a provider app review or platform data deletion callback, include that context in your email.
